Elementary School Fundraiser
Fundraising for elementary school children can be fun and exciting. These younger children
enjoy going out and selling to the public. While these children are normally very excited to go
out and promote their school fundraiser, they can
be really motivated by a fundraiser reward program.
Fundraiser Rollout
To ensure a successful fundraiser, make sure to have a large school assembly to kick off the
fundraising event. Highlight the items in the
reward program. Having physical items present such as a bicycle given to the student selling the
most items will make a great impression on the students.
Reminders
Make sure throughout the program to continue reminding the students to go out and sell. After the initial
kick off event, a lot of students will really go out and work hard to raise money. Other students will
naturally put it off for a while. Make sure to remind students in daily announcements or in correspondence
sent home to parents. When reminding parents, remember to highlight what the money will be used for. Parents
respond better when they know what the money will be used for.
Safety
One thing to make sure of when having an elementary school fundraiser is to ensure the safety of the
students. Remind the students to only sell to people that they know.
